Event Details

Trim Castle, the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland, was constructed over a thirty-year period by Hugh de Lacy and his son Walter.  Join us this Sunday as we discover the best preserved and most impressive castle in the whole of the country.

It’s no wonder that the makers of the movie ‘Braveheart’ chose Trim in County Meath as the shooting location for their epic thriller!

We will stop in Drogheda, one of the oldest towns in Ireland, on the trip as well so make sure you don’t miss this great opportunity!
