Information for EU Students
Students from EU Member States in possession of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) are entitled to public health services in Ireland.
Information Non-EU Students
Due to regulations of the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) non-EU / EEA students are required to obtain Health or Hospital Insurance cover to provide for their stay in Ireland (if more than 90 days). DCULS offers ‘Hospital Insurance’ to students which meet with the requirements of GNIB.
Hospital Insurance for Students – Arranged by DCULS
Students can arrange Hospital Insurance through DCULS at the time of booking their English course. Hospital Insurance provides insurance for medical expenses incurred while students are staying in Ireland. The cost of Hospital Insurance is €125, and is valid for up to 8 months. Our Hospital Insurance policy is valid for the purposes of Student visa requirements for Ireland.
