Join us this Saturday to discover the picturesque scenery and history behind this great monastic city of Glendalough – “the valley of the two lakes”. It is a famous religious monastic site with amazing views and a beautiful nature walk along the two lakes.
The Glendalough Valley was formed by glaciers (mountains of ice) during the Ice Age and the two lakes were formed when the ice eventually melted. The valley is home to one of Ireland’s most impressive monastic (religious) sites.
We will have a stop in the seaside town of Bray on our way down so come with us to enjoy the beautiful and breathtaking sights!!
